Lectotype (Moldenke & Moldenke in Dassanayake & Fosberg, Revised Handb. Fl. Ceylon 4: 378. 1983): Herb. Linn. No. 811.7 (LINN).
Current name: Vitex trifolia L. (Verbenaceae).
Note: Moldenke (in Phytologia 6: 171. 1958) discussed original material for the name but did not designate a type.
