Basionym of: Mahernia pinnata (L.) L. (1767).
Lectotype (de Winter in Bothalia 11: 264. 1974): Herb. Clifford: 342, Hermannia 6 (BM-000646396).
Current name: Hermannia pinnata L. (Sterculiaceae).
