Description

Fumaria officinalis Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 700. 1753.

"Habitat in Europae agris, cultis." RCN: 5126.

Lectotype (Sell in Feddes Repert. 68: 178. 1963): Herb. Linn. No. 881.13 (LINN).

Generitype of Fumaria Linnaeus (vide Green, Prop. Brit. Bot.: 173. 1929).

Current name: Fumaria officinalis L. (Fumariaceae).

Note: Although Pugsley (in J. Bot. 50, Suppl. A: 45. 1912) noted a specimen at LINN, he did not refer to it as a type.
