Apanteles unguifortis Song & Chen, 2004: 91. Holotype ♀ — Hubei, China [FAFU].

Diagnosis. Body length 2.3 mm, fore wing length 2.4 mm. Body black, hind femur blackish. Posterior tangent to anterior ocellus touching posterior ocelli, distance between fore and hind ocellus slightly shorter than diameter of hind ocellus.Antenna slightly shorter than body length, penultimate flagellomere 1.3× longer than wide. Interspaces between punctures on disc of mesonotum as long as its diameter. Areola on propodeum diamond-shaped, with weak costulae. Pterostigma 3.3× as long as its widest part, vein 1-R1 1.2× longer than pterostigma, vein r 1.2× longer than vein 2-SR, angled at junction. T1 constricted from base towards apex, wedge-shaped, 3.5× longer than hind width, turned-over part dull, rugose-punctate, longitudinal channel shallow; T2 shiny and polished, 3.6× wider than long in the middle; T3 2.0× longer than T2. Ovipositor sheath 1.2× longer than hind tibia.
