Dukeia Agassiz 2019, gen. n.

Description

DUKEIA gen. n.

Type species Gymnogramma cyanea Meyrick, 1912.

This genus is related to Yponomeuta but differs superficially in the lack of markings and the amazing blue colouration of the forewings. The hindwing contains a small hyaline basal batch. Only the type species is known.

It is named in honour of the late N.J. Duke who reared the species.
