Description

Dusungwua ohkunii (Shibuya, 1928)

Diagnosis. Adult (Fig. 8) with wingspan 18.0̅24.0 mm. This species is featured by the following characters: the forewing has a small, blackish brown costal spot on inner margin of antemedial line, and a large, triangular, blackish brown posterior patch on outer margin of lower 3/4 of antemedial line; in the male genitalia (Fig. 19), the uncus is broad-triangular, rounded at apex, the clubbed gnathos is slightly broader at middle, the short postero-lateral lobes of the transtilla form an acute angle of about 45°, the valva is rather narrowed, slightly broadened apically, and the lateral lobe of the juxta is hillock-shaped; in the female genitalia (Fig. 30), the antrum is rectangular, the corpus bursae is three times as long as wide, and the signum situated at posterior 1/3 of the corpus bursae. It is similar to D. paradichromella except the triangular posterior patch is bigger, and covered with much more grayish white scales in median area of the forewing, the valva is narrower, the postero-lateral lobe of the transtilla is shorter, and the lateral lobe of the juxta is smaller in the male genitalia than the latter.

Material examined. 674 male and 132 female specimens in different localities of China are examined.

Distribution. China (Anhui, Fujian, Gansu, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Liaoning, Shaanxi, Shandong, Shanxi, Sichuan, Taiwan, Zhejiang).
