Agroeca batangensis sp. n.

Type material. Holotype ♂, CHINA: Bishan County, Chongqing City, Batang Town, Wulong Village (29°49′00″N, 106°19′13″E), 327 m a.s.l., 10 Apr 2011, leg. Luyu Wang. Paratype: 1♂, Zhejiang Province, Lin’an City, Tian’mu Mountain, Chanyuan Temple (30°19′19″N, 119°26′31″E), 380 m a.s.l., 9 Apr 2012, leg. Luyu Wang.
Etymology. The species name is derived from the type locality; adjective.
Diagnosis. The new species resembles A. kamurai, but can be distinguished by: 1) the presence of a distinct hook-shaped apophysis at the proximal border of the tegulum (vs indistinct); 2) the thick and short RTA (vs thin and long); 3) the gently curved embolus (vs arch-shaped); and 4) the unique broad, sickle-shaped median apophysis. Female unknown.
Description. Male. Holotype (Figs 1 A–D) total length 2.29. Carapace 1.14 long, 1.00 wide; abdomen 1.15 long, 0.78 wide. Carapace light brown, margin dark, radial groove and cervical groove indistinct. Eye sizes and interdistances: ALE 0.06, PLE 0.06, PME 0.07, AME 0.05, AME–AME 0.03, AME–ALE 0.03, PME–PME 0.07, PME–PLE 0.05. MOA 0.13 long, 0.19 posterior wide, 0.10 anterior wide. Sternum brown, margin fuscous, longer than wide. Legs fuscous; tibia I with two pairs of ventral spines, tibia II with two thin prolateral or retrolateral ventral spines. Metatarsi I and II with two pairs of ventral spines. Measurements of legs: leg I 2.96 (0.91+0.38+0.65+0.57+0.45), leg II 2.66 (0.78+0.38+0.57+0.49+0.44), leg III 2.71 (0.70+0.37+0.51+0.65+0.48), leg IV missing.
Palp (Figs 1 E–G, 2) as illustrated. RTA blade-shaped, thick and short; embolus tip thin, with broad base, gently curved; conductor membranous, behind embolus; median apophysis sickle-shaped, the base of median apophysis membranous. Tegulum wide, with obvious hook-shaped lobe prolaterally on proximal border; sperm duct faint; subtegulum small and narrow.
Distribution. Known only from the type locality (Fig. 17).
