Otostigmus completus Chamberlin, 1920: 15, synonymized by Lewis (2001).

Otostigmus frigidus Verhoeff, 1942: 186, synonymized by Lewis (2003).

Material examined. HOA BINH Province: 3 specimens (IEBR-Chi 080, 081, 084) Xuan Nha Natural Reserve, natural forests, 20.7108N– 104.6869E, elevation of 673–761m, 14 May–June 2018, coll. Nguyen D. Hung.

Diagnosis. Body with 21 leg-bearing segments. Spiracles oval-shaped (Fig. 21C). Antennae with 17 antennomeres including first three glabrous dorsally (Fig. 20). Paramedian grooves present on both sternites and tergites 5–20 (Fig. 21 A–B). Coxopleural process very short, conical, nearly covered with pores, and with 2–3 apical spines (Figs 21D, 22A). Spines on prefemur of the ultimate legs arranged in three rows, each with 3–5 spines (Fig. 22 B–C).

Previous records in Vietnam. HOA BINH (Schileyko 1992, 2007).

Distribution. The species has also been reported from China, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Korea (Attems 1930; Schileyko 2007).

Remarks. The specimens agree with the descriptions of Schikeyko (1995, 2007) from material collected from Mai Chau (Hoa Binh Province). The species has been recorded only in Hoa Binh Province (Fig. 23).
