É́dition critique du livre II de l'épithalame pour les noces de Filippo Maria Visconti : analyse du genre de l'épithalame de la latinité classique jusqu'à la Renaissance

Abstract
The project presented here is divided into two sections. In the first part of the study is presented the Trivultian manuscript n. 698 and the critical edition of the second book of this text. The manuscript contains the epithalamium for the wedding of Filippo Maria Visconti and Mary of Savoy, which took place in 1428. The poem, divided into 4 books, was composed by the poet Niccolò Gamberto della Porta, whose name has come down to us only through this work. The text of the manuscript, which has never been transcribed before, has been entirely transcribed thanks to the support of an automatic transcription model made with the Kraken. The critical edition proposed here includes the text of the second book, the French translation and the notes commenting on the text.

The second part of the study is devoted to the study of the epithalamium genre. A corpus of epithalamia ranging from Latin classicism to the Renaissance was created in order to study, through programming languages, the evolution of this literary genre. Moreover, these analyses have made it possible to identify better the stylistic and poetic references used by the author of manuscript 698, highlighting the influences that have acted on his literary work.

Résumé

Le projet présenté ici est divisé en deux sections. Dans la première partie de du mémoire est présentée l’étude du manuscrit trivulcien n. 698 et l’édition critique du deuxième livre de ce texte. Le manuscrit en question contient l’épithalame pour le mariage de Filippo Maria Visconti et Marie de Savoie, qui eut lieu en 1428. Le poème, divisé en
4 livres, a été composé par le poète Niccolò Gamberto della Porta, dont le nom ne nous est parvenu que par cette œuvre. Le texte du manuscrit, jusqu’à présent jamais transcrit, a été entièrement transcrit grâce au support d’un modèle de transcription automatique réalisé avec le Kraken. L’édition critique proposée ici comprend le texte du deuxième livre, la traduction française et les notes commentant le texte.
La deuxième partie du mémoire est consacrée à l’étude du genre de l’épithalame. Un corpus d’épithalames allant du classicisme latin à la Renaissance a été créé afin d’étudier, à travers des langages de programmation, l’évolution de ce genre littéraire. De plus, ces analyses ont permis de mieux identifier les références stylistiques et poétiques utilisées par l’auteur du manuscrit 698, mettant en lumière les influences qui ont agi sur son œuvre
littéraire.
