Transparency in qualitative research – a checklist

The Transparency Checklist with recommended items for sharing/internal use is included as both a PDF and a .docx file for easy customizability. The file Frohwirth-Karcher_TransparencyChecklist_Details_2023-04-10.pdf includes mappings to similar checklists as well as additional details such as the rationale for inclusion of each item as well as a short explanation of its contents.

Purpose

• To assist researchers in developing transparency-related materials for a project
• To assist researchers in determining which materials are appropriate for internaldocumentation, and which would be useful or necessary to outsiders seeking tounderstand the project
• To serve as a project “table of contents”
