The present study aims to conduct a discussion about the relationship between some of the main concepts of Phenomenology and Existentialism related to biblical narratives about the Exodus of the Israelites and how articulations such as these can be used for religious education in elementary schools. When dealing with the methodology used, a bibliographical discussion was carried out, relating the main findings in a critical way to the biblical narratives described in the book of Exodus and considering the possibilities of using this methodology as a strategy for religious teaching. Regarding the conclusions, it was possible to note that biblical stories contemplate several aspects present in phenomenological and existential philosophies, which makes it possible to carry out a theoretical reflection on concepts of philosophy linked to sacred writings.
