Self-efficacy questionnaire for children

  • 1. Centre for Social Innovation

Description

The self-efficacy questionnaire for children between the age of 6 and 16 was specifially developed for the purposes of the DOIT project, which aimed at bringing entrepreneurial education, maker skills and social innovation together and at developing an educational programme. As for measuring self-efficacy there was no published questionnaire available that was suitable for the quite large age range, we constructed a survey that is based on published scales with adaptations on item level (Boyd & Vozikis, 1994; Deusinger, 1986; Krampen, 1991; Midgley et al., 2000). The questionnaire has been tested with around 1000 children in ten different European countries.
