COVID has disrupted the way businesses work and every business is finding a way to work around this situation. Due to this, businesses have to find efficient ways to run their business. Due to labour issues it becomes hard for companies to operate at full capacity. Machines as well won’t be running at times because machines are not manned and social distancing norms are hard to adhere in factories with large number of employees where machines might be placed next to each other. Due to these issues companies have to make sure they are running in the most efficient ways and also must be able to incorporate machines that are efficient to run and also reduces the dependence of companies on their labour force to operate these machines. Various forms of automations and technology advancements will help companies attain these targets. They will be able to adhere to social distancing norms as well as run their machines at the maximum possible productivity.  In this paper we will see how technologically advanced machines are superior to standard machines and how they can help companies improve their productivity, increase margins, and also reduce the manpower required to run them in this time of COVID-19.
