Codes used for estimation of the injected masses of combustion products in the study by Khaykin et al., "The 2019/20 Australian wildfires generated a persistent smoke-charged vortex rising up to 35 km altitude
Description
This deposit contains Python routines, that were used for estimation of the injected masses of CO, CH3CN, H2O using Aura MLS satellite observations and OMPS-LP aerosol extinction observations. The file accessoires_final.py" which just gathers small functions that are sometimes used in the four other codes.
The detailed information on the MLS and OMPS-LP instruments and the methods of processing and analysis is provided in the corresponding manuscript by Khaykin et al. and references therein "The 2019/20 Australian wildfires generated a persistent smoke-charged vortex rising up to 35 km altitude" at Communications Earth and Environment journal.
