Salgın Bir Hastalık Olarak Vebânın Dinî Açıdan Yorumlanması

Almighty  God created mankind with a program of fate, sometimes he brought him to blessings and sometimes he faced him with trouble and misfortunes. He has always tested his servants with the blessings and misfortunes that they have been given to receive lessons. One of these troubles is the contagious disease. Although there are some physical reasons for the emergence of this disease, there are some metaphysical or divine reasons, too.

In this study, some agents such as testing, warning, obedience, exercise in patience, teaching to surrender, and punishment by making use of the Qur'an and Sunnah are mentioned as the reasons for the plague. It is also stated that a person suffering from plague disease may be able to regain his health by avoiding fear, praying and giving charity along with material methods such as quarantine and medical treatment..
