Distribution: ANG, BEN, CAM, GAB, GAM, GUI, LIR, RCI, SEN, SLN.

Distribution in Angola (Provinces): 1)?

Historic records:

— Angola (without locality) (Antoine 1987).

Material examined: None.

Remarks. As Holm & Marais (1992) refer “little is known about the biology…of the genus in general”. They provided some ecological data on Cosmiophaena rubescens (Brancsik, 1914).
