ВЗАИМОСВЯЗЬ СРЕДНЕЙ И ВЫСШЕЙ ШКОЛЫ В ПОЛЬШЕ XXI ВЕКА (генезис, актуальное состояние, перспективы)

Description

The near location of elite high schools determines the level of education at
universities. Attempts to their unification or even uniformity turned out to be an educational utopia despite slogans about equal educational opportunities,
pressure from the Generation’68, communist visions of equality, or the efforts of Western democracies. The demographic decline in Poland has not eliminated the diversities in high schools and universities education. The introduction of various matriculation exams (elementary or at advanced level) has even deepened and complicated the relationship between high schools and universities. The current associations of high school and university in Poland are determined or conditioned equally by the following factors: tradition derived from period 1919-2011, distance from administrative changes in 1999-2018, mass education aspirations with the parallel phenomenon of resistance to education and last but not least, change
and optimization perspectives in education which nobody can reliably design in Polish realities. Optimizing the relationship between high school and academic school is therefore a permanent and timeless undertaking.
