83. Neocalyptis affinisana (Walker, 1863)

Tortrix affinisana Walker, 1863; List Specimens lepid. Insects Colln. Br. Mus. 28: 328.

TL: Ceylon [= Sri Lanka].

Distribution: India (Uttarakhand, Andaman Islands); Brunei; Indonesia (Java); Malaysia; Nepal; Sabah; Sambawa; Sri Lanka; Sulawesi; Sumatra; Thailand; Vietnam (Diakonoff 1976; Robinson et al. 1994; Koçak & Kemal 2012; Nedoshivina 2013).

Hosts: Dahlia coccinea (Asteraceae) and Camellia sp. (Theaceae) are reported as host plants (Yunus & Ho 1980; Robinson et al. 2001).

Illustrations: Adult (Nedoshivina 2013: 223) and genitalia (Rose & Pooni 2004: 168).
