Teras comariana Lienig & Zeller, 1846; Isis von Oken (Leipzig) 1846 (3): 263

TL: Latvia.

Distribution: India (Kashmir); China; Japan; Korea; Russia (Siberia, Ussuri); Europe; North America; introduced into New Zealand (Razowski 2006).

Hosts: Larvae are reported from Rhododendron, Comarum, Crateagus, Fragaria, Malus, and Potentilla (all Rosaceae) (Bradley et al. 1973; Yasuda 1975; Dugdale et al. 2005).
