Corynosoma hamanni (Linstow, 1892) Railliet & Henry, 1907

Actinopterygii

Conger orbignianus Valenciennes (Anguilliformes, Congridae). SI: body cavity. SD: cystacanth. L: Buenos Aires Province: Bahía Blanca (38°45’S, 62°15’W). R: Tanzola and Guagliardo (2000) (see note below).

Porichthys porosissimus (Cuvier) (Batrachoidiformes, Batrachoididae). SI: body cavity. SD: cystacanth. L: Buenos Aires Province: Bahía Blanca (38°45’S, 62°15’W). R: Tanzola et al. (1997) (see note below).

Note. These reports might be wrong. The acanthocephalans collected from Conger orbignianus by Tanzola and Guagliardo (2000) and from Porichthys porosissimus by Tanzola et al. (1997) may probably belong to Corynosoma cetaceum.
