Description
The study of organization of the settlement must be closely related to the analysis of exploitation of the physical environment in which settlements are inserted. In this case study the territoy of Salado valley, Henares River tributary in the north of Guadalajara, linking areas of habitat with the operation of the main economic resource of the area, the salt. We present the results of the first season of archaeological survey (2008), always focusing on the Andalusian period (eighth to eleventh centuries).
