A CONTAÇÃO DE HISTÓRIAS COMO FERRAMENTA DIDÁTICA NA EDUCAÇÃO INFANTIL
Description
Storytelling is an indispensable teaching tool for the development of reading skills. The objective of the study was to understand the instrumentality of storytelling for the cognitive and emotional development of Early Childhood Education students. To this end, the study was based on a descriptive research, as to the ends, qualitative, as to the means, starting from a Historical-Deductive method, based on bibliographic and documentary data regarding the instrumentality of storytelling and the role teacher in this process. Storytelling when properly mediated by the teacher based on zeal for literary quality and use of favorable resources, promotes the expansion of vocabulary, identification and use of linguistic resources that allow the valorization of the text, reflection on reading. The teacher's posture, therefore, must compose a model to be followed by his students, always considering the observations coming from an attentive and sensitive look, which leads to appropriate interventions to favor learning.
