Distribution in the Arabian Peninsula: Oman (Guichard 1980; Hamer 1986, 1988; Schmid-Egger 2009), Saudi Arabia (Gadallah & Assery 2004a, c; Schmid-Egger 2009; Gadallah et al. 2013), United Arab Emirates (Roche 1981 as Sembicinus bytinskii; Hamer 1986, 1988; Gillett & Gillett 2005; Howarth & Gillett 2008; Schmid-Egger 2011, 2014), Yemen (Schmid-Egger 2009).
Extralimital distribution: Israel.
