Description
Genus Atractodenchelys Robins & Robins, 1970
Diagnosis. Body entirely scaleless; pectoral fins present; anus moderately forward; trunk usually shorter, sometimes equal to or slightly longer, than head length; gill openings on the lower side of the body, well-separated from each other; lateral line well developed; no pore on supratemporal canal of the head; oval patch of teeth on intermaxillary; single row of 5–8 large compound teeth on vomer; and multiple rows of teeth on both jaws (Robins & Robins, 1970; this study).
