Introduction of scribal presentations in the process of studying chemistry in grade 9
Creators
Description
The purpose of the article is to substantiate the expediency of scribble presentations using in modern secondary education institutions, in particular in chemistry lessons. To achieve this goal, the following methods were applied: theoretical analysis of literature, study and generalization of teacher experience, interviewing students, conducting a pedagogical experiment.
The advantages of scribble presentations include: attractiveness and originality of this technology; compactness and imagery; Promoting students' cognitive interest, learning and memorizing educational material. The disadvantages are: high time costs for scrubbing; demand for the teacher's preparedness in technological, technical, artistic and aesthetic terms.
A pedagogical experiment was conducted to explore the possibilities of introducing scraper presentations into the educational process of comprehensive schools. The purpose of the study was to introduce a ninth grade scraper presentation into the educational process to increase interest and motivation to study and consolidate the learning material, which in our opinion will lead to improvement of the students' knowledge, skills and attainments.
The survey of students showed that the participants of the experiment were able to better understand the educational material of the topics "Solutions" and "Chemical reactions" with the help of developed scribing presentations. In addition, the analysis of independent and control work showed that the possibility of constant access to training videos during the preparation of homework, repetition of the completed material in the classroom, in preparation for the test work led to an increase in the educational achievement of students of the experimental class.
The practical significance of the research is to develop a technique for applying scribing in the study of chemistry, which can be used in chemistry teaching classes, students during pedagogical practice and teachers.
