Supplementary information: oral lichen planus
Description
Supplementary information
- Supplementary table 1: information of patients. We retrospectively collected focal fibrous hyperplasias, head and neck cancers, pemphigoid, pemphigus and oral lichen planus lesions in paraffin-embedded tissues of Chilean cases. For Oral lichen planus diagnosis we use both clinical and histopathologic criteria enumerated in the position paper by the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology. Asymptomatic cases of oral lichen planus do not received any treatment, except periodic observation by an oral medicine specialist. Painful and burning cases were controlled with the use of topical corticosteroids.
