HINFDAMPOPT – A MATLAB package for semi-active H-infinity damping optimization

Description
This code is designed to optimize the damping behavior of linear mechanical systems. The damping matrix of this system (corresponding the dampers at fixed locations) is designed such that the H-infinity norm of the transfer function between the external excitation and a performance output is minimized. To speed-up the optimization procedure, a sequence of reduced-order systems in optimized.
Notes
This code has been tested using MATLAB 2018a on a machine with Linux version 4.4.132-53-default.
