DFG-funded projects 1920-1945 - PID as a very helpful tool for enriching a research funders historical information system

Workshop Report at Pidapalooza 2020, Lisbon, on an Information System that the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation) will publish on the Occasion of ist hundredth anniversary 2020. The System makes metadata on a total of 50,000 proposals from the years 1920-1945 searchable. PID are used to link the data on persons, Research institutions and selected Projects with external sources (e.g. Wikipedia).
