Description

These files are related to the publication: "Beijing Climate Center Earth System Model version 1 (BCC-ESM1):  Model Description and Evaluation of Aerosol Simulations" (currently under review).

Description of the files as in "readme.txt":

"BCC-ESM1.code.tar.gz" contains the Beijing Climate Center Earth System Model version 1 (BCC-ESM1) code 
(including four components: atmospheric model, land model, ocean model, and sea ice model).

"INIDATA_chem_data.tar.gz " contains emissions data to drive the BCC-ESM1 to simulate aerosols and chemistry gases.
 
"INIDATA_atm_data.tar.gz" contains all the data needed run the atmospheric component of BCC-ESM1.

"INIDATA_other_data.tar.gz" contains the data needed run the land, ocean, sea ice component of BCC-ESM1.

"historical.AIX.tar.gz" contains the scripts and model initial files to reproduce the historical simulations.
