Description

The video illustrates the photon absorption process in an indirect bandgap semiconductor. The process is assisted by a phonon (blue ball) that provides the necessary crystal momentum. The video has been done using blender 2.81. The source file is also provided so you can edit the colors, reproduce the video from different camera angles, etc...if you wish.
