Description
The purpose of the article is to determine the degree of influence of the food safety management system on the quality of domestic products, taking into account the principles of the presented system, as well as to compare the competitive advantages of enterprises using this system.
The study found that the food safety management system is aimed at improving the quality and safety of products. It should be further implemented in all food business enterprises.
At the same time, it is established that this system of product quality management has several advantages and disadvantages. The main advantages include: increasing the competitiveness of enterprises, improving product safety, which in turn leads to increased consumer confidence in the manufacturer. The main drawbacks are the complexity and the relatively long implementation time. It is determined that the introduction of a single effective system of product quality control is catastrophically necessary today, as not all producers are conscientious and often neglect the requirements for quality and safety of products in order to increase profits, which has led to a series of mass poisonings over the last decade. It is proved that despite all the advantages, there are many enterprises in Ukraine that have not yet switched to the given system, the reason for this is the possible lack of information of the producers or their desire to avoid additional costs. However, one way or another, by September 2019, all food producers will have to switch to this system.
It is concluded that effective integration of the domestic economy into the world economy can occur only by achieving a high level of competitiveness of products in domestic and foreign markets, which are produced by domestic enterprises. The food safety management system is able not only to ensure the proper quality of products, but also security and to increase the investment attractiveness and export capabilities of domestic food producers.
