Analysis of Metallurgical Properties And Tribological Wear Of Al-6063- Cotton Shell Ash And Sic Metal Matrix Hybrid Composites By Using Stir Casting

Description

Al-6063 With Particulate Reinforcements Contains The Superior Properites Like High Stiffness, High Strength And Good Wear Resistance To Unreinforced Matrix Alloy. Those Are Utilized For Automotive Parts,Components And Aircraft Component Applications. Aluminum Metal Matrix Hybrid Composites (Almmhc)Are Mainly Focus On Economic Aspects And Ecofriendly Its Trends To High Specific Strength And Good Hardness Application. The Aluminium Alloy As Base Matrix Material And Cotton Shell Ash (Csa) And Silicon Carbide (Sic) Are The Reinforcements Have Better Mechnical,Properties. The Actual Process To Create Metal Matrix Hybrid Composite Is Too Difficult In Optimum Conditons. In This My Research Work Al-6063-Csa-Sic Casting With Various Volume Portions Of Csa And Sic With Ratio Of 75:25 Of Csa-Sic Was Produced, By Maintaining Argon Environment With The Help Of Pure Argon Gas, The Enhance Of Botttom Pouring Stir Casting Methodology. The Aluminum Metal Matrix Hybrid Composites (Almmhc) Are Produced By The Reinforcement Of Sieve Mesh 75μm. We Grasp That With More Persentage Of Csa And Sic Addition To Enhancement In Specific Strength Of The Hybrid Composite. Surface Morphology Powder Distribution Are Examined In Detail By Computerised Inverted Metallurgical Microsope. The Produced Aluminum Metal Matrix Hybrid Composites (Almmhc) Is Conducted Various Examinations To Determine The Metallurgical Properties Of Density, Hardness And Compression Was Observed And To Analyze The Process Parameters To Their Effect Of Cotton Shell Ash And Silicon Carbide. Influence Of Csa-Sic As A Reinforcements Of Particular Emphasis The Result Was Differentiate With Unreinforced Matrix Aluminum Alloy.
