Thе rhythms of development of the species of Carpinus genus in dendrological park "Sofiivka" of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine

The results of studying the phenological rhythms of Carpinus L. genus introducers under the conditions of dendrological park “Sofiivka" of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine are presented. Information on development of vegetative and generative species organs of Carpinus genus from the beginning of buttons slapping and flowering till the leaf fall and fruit ripening are presented. Such species as C. betulus L., C. betulus var. globosa hort., C. caucasica A. Grossh., C. orientalis Mill., C. turczaninovii Hance, C. cordata Bl. are promising for growing under the conditions of the South of the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine.
