Market and state institutions for the strategy of reforming the national energy sector

  • 1. M.

Description

The article deals with the main problems of reforming the national energy market. The emphasis is placed on the fact that the liberal model, in an attempt to pursue a real competitive relationship on the market, which is dominated by natural monopolies, with weak state control, can not lead to success, which confirms practice. Therefore, market reform should precede the reform of the institutional framework that regulates its activities. An alternative distribution generation strategy is proposed, which should be based on the creation of investment support institutions for the development of energy technology complexes that will work on solid waste as an alternative to traditional energy resources. This is how the author proposes to orient the institutional base for reforming the energy market development strategy in Ukraine.
