Ethnopsycho-Pedagogic Determinants of the Kyrgyz as one of the Conditions for Development of Life-Meaningful Orientations

The Kyrgyz national ethnopsycho-pedagogic determinants contributing to the development of life meaningful orientations were considered in the article. The psychological method of analyzing the system of traditional knowledge of the Kyrgyz people giving an opportunity to understand the unique features of ethnopedagogy was described. Actual ideas of traditional knowledge holders about the meaning of life were defined by using the author's questionnaire. The work presents the results of the analysis of the development level of self-knowledge and self-understanding skills of traditional knowledge holders, which are the main necessary features of personality activity for the development of life meaningful orientations, they are given in comparison with the ideas of young people who do not possess such knowledge. Since the Kyrgyz have been nomads since ancient times and complete transfer of traditional knowledge is possible only with direct and long-term interaction of representatives of different generations, the study of traditional knowledge holders' ideas about the meaning of life has been conducted within a month in the summer nomadic pasture on a jailoo. The conducted study showed that the traditional knowledge holders had an active life position in a conscious understanding of the current situation and oriented to self-absorption and self-cognition in their life-meaningful endeavours. The data obtained show the need to use the folk experience as an additional mechanism of psychological impact on personal characteristics.
