At the current stage of society's development, everyday life continues to conceal threats, including for state officials. The issue of ensuring the security of senior officials and the protection of state authorities is very important and relevant in our time. The planning of a security measure during the provision of state security has an agreed and regulated procedure aimed at achieving a single result. In view of this, the urgency of the issue of ensuring the security of officials is unmistakable and requires further improvement in the activities of the Office of the State Protection of Ukraine.

Analyzing the state of the stages of planning and its implementation, as well as regulations that regulate this activity, it becomes clear that this direction in the system of providing state protection is insufficiently high.

The need to increase the efficiency of the functioning of law enforcement bodies involved in ensuring the security of objects that are subject to state security is obvious. This is due to the role played by the country's top officials in developing and implementing the strategy of development of society, defending the interests of the state in the international arena, etc. This is also due to the significant shortcomings observed in the organizational and legal framework of the law enforcement agencies. Thus, the question of the investigation of normative legal acts regulating the security of an object, which is being carried out by the state guard in the context of the planning of a security measure, is extremely relevant.
