In the article the role of disciplines of the artistic and aesthetic cycle in the professional training of future educators of pre - school establishments is explored. The origins of the ideas of aesthetic upbringing of preschool children in the world pedagogical thought, the formation of a system of aesthetic education of preschool children are revealed. The experience of "implementation of the content, forms, and methods" of aesthetic education of children in pre-school establishments of Ukraine is generalized and the prospects of using these achievements in the present conditions are defined. The prospects of the use of disciplines of the artistic and aesthetic cycle in the enriched content of aesthetic upbringing of preschoolers and the professional training of future educators are determined. The factors of improvement of the content of aesthetic education of preschool children are analyzed "the formation of a regulatory and legal framework for the regulation of issues of aesthetic education, preparation of teaching and methodological support". The study of disciplines of the artistic and aesthetic cycle in the training of future educators of pre-school educational institutions will facilitate the improvement of higher pedagogical education and will ensure the high-quality formation of the professional competence of graduates for the long-term perspective, will enable them to have professional mobility and high competitiveness on the modern labor market. The future specialists of the pre-school profile of blocks of disciplines from the musical and fine arts will help to improve their professional training, increase their readiness for future practical work with children, and influence the success of solving them tasks of aesthetic education of children. The article substantiates the prospects of the development of forms and methods of aesthetic education of children. The means of influence on aesthetic upbringing of student youth are investigated, efficiency of using disciplines of artistic and aesthetic cycle on the process of professional training of future educators of pre - school educational institutions is substantiated.
