Anchoring and Connection Design Dataset for Offshore Floating Photovoltaic Systems in European Waters (SUREWAVE)

This dataset was generated within the Horizon Europe project SUREWAVE (Grant Agreement No. 101083342) and supports the public deliverable “D3.3 Anchoring and Connections to PV System”.

The dataset contains engineering design data for offshore floating photovoltaic systems protected by floating breakwaters. It includes metocean conditions, floating breakwater layouts, anchor chain properties, catenary mooring parameters, anchor pile sizing data and connection load assessments for representative offshore locations in the Baltic Sea, Mediterranean Sea and North Sea.

The dataset supports research and engineering applications related to floating solar energy systems, offshore renewable energy infrastructure, mooring system design and marine structural engineering.
