Globalización, internet y transculturación. Reflexiones desde el pensamiento de Fernando Ortiz

ES: La globalización ha implicado, en gran medida, el fortalecimiento de una cultura del mercado que violenta el ámbito de otras culturas. En este abordaje proponemos volcarnos a la mirada propia, aquella que permite adentrarnos en tradiciones del pensamiento latinoamericano con vigencia en torno al problema de lo humano. Fernando Ortiz, específicamente, desde categorías como desculturación, inculturación, transculturación y neoculturación echa luz para repensar la cultura y las culturas. La transculturación como un proceso de intercambio entre culturas se vuelve una posibilidad necesaria en el marco de una circulación “global” –con claras hegemonías– promovida fundamentalmente por las tecnologías de la comunicación.

EN: Globalization has involved, largely, the strengthening of a market culture that violates the scope of other cultures. In this study, we propose to analyse the current Latin American thought traditions about the human problem. Fernando Ortiz, specifically, from categories such as deculturation, inculturation, transculturation and neoculturation allows reflection on culture and cultures. We are interested in speculating about the possibilities of transculturation as a process of exchange between cultures that is necessary within the framework of the circulation of information and communication technologies. Transculturation as a process of exchange between cultures becomes a necessary possibility in the framework of a "global" circulation –therefore,with clear hegemonies– promoted fundamentally by communication technologies
