Social perception of science, trust and citizen engagement - a policy report, COALESCE project (grant agreement No 101095230)

Building on the Mutual Learning Exercise (MLE) on Science Communication in Research & Innovation (R&I), Topic 2: Social perception of science, trust and citizen engagement continues the shared effort to strengthen EU and national support for science communication (scicomm) by enabling the European Research Area (ERA) countries to jointly explore policy challenges and opportunities. This policy report brings evidence and peer learning on three interconnected areas: Monitoring social perception of science (including trust), Understanding what factors affect trust in science, and Sharing citizen engagement strategies that maintain or rebuild trust.
