Optimizing locations of solar-powered pyrolysis plants based on forest and agricultural biomass in the Mediterranean region
Authors/Creators
Description
This presentation was held by Erico Kutcharrt (CTFC) at EUBCE 2026, PYSOLO workshop "Solar Energy for biomass pyrolysis: a carbon negative emissions solution", 20 May 2026, 15:00-16:30 CET. The workshop provided insights from the Horizon Europe project PYSOLO (Grant agreement ID: 101118270, www.pysolo.eu), which investigates a novel system for solar-assisted biomass pyrolysis. During the workshop the main results obtained within the first half of the project and related to the experimental and simulation activities were discussed.
