ROTATES MAA & LL Methodological Framework
Description
This deliverable presents the methodological framework developed for ROTATES and establishes the conceptual and operational foundation for how the project engages stakeholders, organises co-creation activities, and structures experimentation across its diverse implementation settings. It responds to a core challenge of the project: the adoption of Minor Roots and Tuber (MRT) depends not only on agronomic performance, but on a complex interplay of genetic resources, processing opportunities, market conditions, cultural relevance, policy environments, and user acceptance. The framework presented here provides the shared methodological basis
for connecting scientific knowledge with practical experience and stakeholder needs across the full innovation chain, from crop genetics and farming systems to value chains, processing, and wider uptake.
