Description

Besides other hydrogen-related projects, IZES is currently working in two different so-called Hydrogen Valley projects. The Clean Hydrogen Partnership awards the grants for the two projects, and consists of three members, namely the European Commission, Hydrogen Europe, and Hydrogen Europe Research. The primary aim of Hydrogen Valley projects is to establish regional hydrogen ecosystems that integrate the entire hydrogen value chain, from production, transportation/distribution to end-use,
to decarbonise mostly all energy-related sectors and promote economic growth. The projects aim to highlight the versatility of hydrogen in different applications, such as mobility, industry, and energy, while also fostering collaboration and knowledge transfer between regions and stakeholders. Currently, the IZES gGmbH is working – together with many European partners – on two different hydrogen valley projects, SH2AMROCK and LuxHyVal.
