Description
Maria Rodó-Zárate spoke about RESIST findings in a roundtable on political violence against feminists, together with legal experts, activists, organisations working on sexual and reproductive rights, and feminist public figures as part of the Jornades Feministes 2026: Feminismes en Revolta 1976-2026, a major autonomous feminist gathering in Catalonia. The session addressed political violence as a systematic attempt to limit, condition, or deactivate feminism as a political project, and examined its different forms, including harassment, criminalisation, institutional repression, legal attacks, racism, and campaigns of delegitimation. The roundtable had a very significant audience, with around 200 participants, and generated an important discussion on the impacts of this violence on feminist activists and organisations, as well as on the strategies needed to respond collectively and sustain feminist action.
