2030 Roadmap for Improving Institutional Research Cultures to Strengthen Research Ethics and Integrity in Europe

Document suggesting a strategic pathway to strengthen the research ethics and integrity in the European research environment and reduce research misconduct by 2030, drawing on findings from the BEYOND project and established European guidance. It adopts a system-wide approach that addresses both institutional and individual factors contributing to misconduct, which is organised around four pillars: reforming research governance, transforming research culture, advancing ethics and integrity education and research, and enhancing public trust in science. This is combined with a phased timescale for implementation and consolidation.
