Single detector SOHO/EPHIN rates

Description

The yearly SCI output file produced by the Python selection script contains a compact, time-ordered subset of the SOHO/EPHIN Level-1 science counter data. For each year, the script writes one CSV file named `sci-YYYY-selected.csv`, where `YYYY` denotes the four-digit year. Each row corresponds to one selected one-minute SCI record. The time stamp is reconstructed from the original PB5 time information, namely year, day of year, and milliseconds of day, and is written as a calendar date and time in the form `YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS`.

The science columns contain selected single-detector counter rates: `_G0`, the six A-detector segment counters `A00` to `A05`, the six B-detector segment counters `B00` to `B05`, and `_F0`. These channels are taken from the 88-element SCI science-data block and provide the basic detector-rate information used for subsequent inspection and event studies. A final `status` column stores the integer EPHIN status flag of the original record, documenting the instrument configuration under which the data were acquired. Only records whose status flag is accepted for the corresponding mission period are written to the output file.

The nominal accumulation time of one SOHO/EPHIN SCI record is 59.953 s. The counter values in the file are already dead-time corrected using tau = 2.5 microseconds; the script therefore does not apply an additional correction, but only selects, formats, and exports the relevant counters. Finite integral values are written as integers, while non-finite values are left as empty CSV fields. The resulting file is therefore a clean yearly time series of selected EPHIN single-detector counters together with the status information needed to trace the instrument mode.
