FIGURES 1–8. Plategeocranus sulcatus (Karsch, 1884), adult (samples: 1–6. MGCP Ar-46. 7–8. MGCP Ar-89). 1–3: body remnants separated from the amber (legs lost; tilted slightly to right, making rostrum seem narrow, cf. Fig. 22). 1. Oblique dorsal aspect. 2. Oblique ventral aspect. 3. Lateral aspect. 4–6. Body remnants retained in amber, seen from inside mite's imprint (drawings flipped to match orientations of Figs. 1–2). 4. Anal valves. 5. Genital valves. 6. Bothridium with seta bo. 7. Seta in, lateral view, scale as in 1. 8. Same, enlarged. Scale bars 1–3, 6 = 100 µm; 4, 5 = 50 µm; 7, 8 = 20 µm.
