Description
Deliverable D6 presents the data management framework, distribution approach, and cost-estimation principles needed for the future Arctic Ocean Observing System (AOOS). Developed in Work Package 4, it draws on earlier AOOS deliverables and results from a Big Data workshop. The report explains how AOOS should manage, process, share, and sustain Arctic observational data for research, operational services, and decision-making. Because the observing system design is still evolving, the report emphasises principles and high-level architecture rather than prescribing specific technologies.
