Description

Live migration of applications is a fundamental capability for enabling resilient computing in modern distributed systems. However, extending this functionality to trusted applications executing within Trusted Execution Environments introduces challenges such as secure state preservation, integrity verification, replay prevention, and mitigation of unauthorized cloning. This paper presents TALOS, a lightweight framework for verifiable state management and trustworthy migration of enclave applications. TALOS integrates runtime introspection, control-flow verification, and attested state transfer mechanisms to guarantee execution continuity and integrity across nodes while maintaining minimal trust assumptions.
