D6.1_Initial LCA report for the BIO-CHP case study for socio-economic assessment

Description

The first section of D6.1 provides a summary of climate change and global warming, including its causes, effects, main industrial contributors and potential mitigation strategies. The second part describes the LCA methodology considered when performing the environmental evaluation, while offering the main material and energy balance data. The third chapter focuses on the environmental performance of the MEA- and CaLby2030 CO2 capture technologies integrated within a Bio-CHP plant, emphasizing the main LCA results. The overall conclusions are provided in the final section.
